OPERATIONS LEAD
NewGen Ag is hiring a full-time Operations Lead to support customers, site operations and seasonal demands.
This role plays an important part in supporting day-to-day site operations, ensuring products, equipment, and facilities are maintained safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedure. This position is well-suited for someone who enjoys variety in their work, takes pride in doing things right, and values being part of a close-knit team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver fertilizer and crop protection products to growers in a timely and professional manner
- Operate and maintain equipment
- Load, unload, organize, and maintain product inventory within the warehouse and yard using equipment such as forklifts and skid steers
- Prepare pallets and shipments, ensuring accurate inventory control and proper product storage
- Perform routine equipment servicing and general maintenance of the yard, warehouse and shop to support sae and efficient operations
- Safely lift and handle materials weighing 50-100 pounds
- Support daily site operations while maintain a clean, organized and safety-focused work environment
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Valid Class 5 license with a clean drivers abstract, Class 1A is an asset
- Physically able to safely lift 50-100 pounds and climb onto trailers as needed
- Ability to work extended hours during peak seasonal periods
- Experience operating a forklift or willingness to complete training
- Agricultural or farm experience is considered an asset
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Open to learning new technologies, products and agronomic practices
- Basic computer skills
- Dependable, safety-conscious and motivated to contribute to a positive and respectful work environment

SUMMER RETAIL SUPPORT
NewGen Ag is looking to fill the role of a Summer Retail Support from May to August 2026!
This position is ideal for students studying agronomy, agribusiness, or a related field who want to gain practical experience in agricultural retail and farm operations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- General support: Assist with day-to-day activities in both the retail and field environments.
- Hands-on tasks: Assist with the loading and unloading of products, deliveries, and inventory management.
- Learn ag retail operations: Understand product sales, inventory control, and logistics within the agricultural sector.
- Fieldwork: Help with crop scouting, field inspections, and monitoring crop conditions.
- Collaborate with the team: Work with our team to provide excellent customer service, timely deliveries, and assist with all tasks related to ag retail.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Passion for agriculture and a desire to support grower success
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with G Endorsement (or willingness to get it) and clean driver abstract
- Ability to drive forklift or willingness to learn
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform hands-on work as needed
- Deliver product with truck and trailer
- Highly organized, self-directed, and motivated with a strong work ethic
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills

SALES AGRONOMIST
Are you passionate about agronomy and building strong farm relationships?
NewGen Ag is hiring a full-time Sales Agronomist to provide field-focused advice and support to local producers. If you’re motivated, love being in the field, and want to join a team that values innovation, integrity, and personalized service—we’d love to hear from you.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing growers, as well as industry representatives
- Recommend appropriate seed, crop nutrition, and crop protection products based on agronomic needs, field conditions, and farm goals
- Provide in-field scouting, crop planning, and ongoing agronomic support
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet territory goals and business targets
- Stay informed on current agronomic practices, product innovations, and industry trends
- Collaborate with internal staff to coordinate product availability, deliveries, and service
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, recommendations, and sales activity
- Attend industry training, grower meetings, and company events
- Represent the company professionally in all interactions with customers and suppliers
- Work with the sales and administration team to manage customer accounts
- Assist with the loading and unloading of crop protection products
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Degree or diploma in Agronomy or a related field; P.Ag. or CCA designation is an asset
- Experience in Ag retail, agronomy, sales, or a related field
- Passion for agriculture and a desire to support grower success
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation ability
- Highly organized, self-directed, and motivated with a strong work ethic
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Eagerness to learn and stay current with agronomic practices and new technologies
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and general computer skills
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driver abstract
- Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and perform hands-on work as needed
- Willingness to learn forklift operation
